Public Policy/Economic Development Committee

CSIA’s Public Policy/Economic Development Committee is responsible for year-long efforts to ensure a healthy legislative and regulatory environment for technology businesses, and for retention and acquisition of IT companies and involvement with local economic development activities.  The Public Policy Committee works with elected officials, government agencies, higher education representatives, economic development and business leaders in Colorado to represent the interests of the technology industry.  CSIA member companies make a difference by volunteering to meet state legislators, arrange site visits at their company locations and contacting state legislators about the impact of certain bills that may affect their business.

Public Policy/Economic Development Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 am at Fairfield and Woods, P.C., 1700 Lincoln St., Ste 2400. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, contact Su Hawk, President, or the Chair of this committee.

Governor Ritter announced the creation of the Colorado
Innovation Council, a statewide technology reform
effort, to the 800 attendees at our DEMOgala event.
He also named our Su Hawk to the Council.
