Thanks to the great involvement of more than 45 C-Levels and 40 volunteers, CSIA’s second annual C-Level @ A Mile High not only will support the organization’s ongoing efforts for the ICT industry in Colorado, but will also benefit the academic work to increase student and educator understanding about the exciting careers and opportunities in this industry. In addition, this year’s efforts raised dollars and awareness for the new CSIA/CSU Inspire to Innovate spring scholarships for Colorado students at CSU’s IT departments.
More than 600 attendees mingled and bid on executives, and then peruse other items in our silent auction. Items won included a mountain condo package, fabulous seats at the Rockies second day opener, and even a new Chrysler Crossfire Limited.
Because of the great generosity of our attendees and guests, CSIA will be making a donation to the CSIA/CSU Inspire to Innovate Scholarship Program for two scholarships. Recipients of the scholarships will be announced at the CSIA Apex Awards on June 5, 2008.
It was a stellar evening of conversation, energy and networking. One not to be missed next year.
